Summary:

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategies to drive business growth and maximize value creation. Partnering with the Marketing CoE to execute the Commercial Drinking Water (CDW) global Marketing strategy; transforming the Culligan group of companies into a Customer Centric, Digital First, Consumer Services driven organisation.

Core role and responsibilities:

• Responsible for organising and overseeing Marketing operations of the Commercial Drinking Water UK business

• Reporting to Business Unit Managing Director with Marketing Leader EMEA in dotted line. Marketing budget responsibility will remain local, as Culligan currently operates a de-centralised organisation with P&L responsibility.

• Execute the global Marketing strategy; helping to transform the Culligan

group into a Customer Centric, Digital First, Consumer Services driven

organisation.

• Drive all the Marketing aspects of increasing Annual Recurring Revenues

(ARR), via new customers and existing customers, while controlling

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

• Develop and Implement the Lead Generation strategy, in sync with the EMEA Lead Generation strategy, guidance and priorities.

• Develop and implement the Web and Digital strategy and Customer Journeys, reaching segments and consumer markets that are currently underserved.

• Develop and Implement the CDW and Culligan Brand strategy, in sync with the EMEA and Global Branding strategy.

• Work closely with Product Development and Management teams, to develop proper Value Propositions, encompassing products, services, consumables and related Customer Journeys.

• Work closely with EMEA/UK IT organization to build and drive a consistent,

standard and harmonised Marketing Technology stack, including, among

others, CRM, Marketing Automation and Business Intelligence.

• Partner and build credibility within the CDW UK Leadership team; building

strong relationships early will be critical.

• Lead Marketing team to success; creating an environment of openness and trust and challenge in equal measure with a focus on teamwork and

collaboration.

• Coach, support and develop talent to build talent pipeline to support future growth.

• Quickly build rapport, credibility and trust within the marketing department. Drive to be a world class organization, Top-grading and developing the internal talent proactively.

• Leverage the Global Consumer Insights team (Customer Insights and

Markets Development) to develop a structured understanding of the UK

market.

• Leverage the EMEA Digital team to accelerate digital lead generation.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have significant B2B and B2C experience with a demonstrable track record in:

• Operating in complex business units with multi-channel and sector business lines, within multinational “flat organizations” (e.g. American/Anglo/Dutch models)

• Driving growth hacking, setting and leading lead generation strategies

• Deep expertise in digital: lead generation, go to market, digital solution

• Strong experience in recurring revenues, service-oriented business models

• Implementing and leading a business system approach to drive results, focus and discipline, based on numbers

• Working autonomously in complex markets and organizations, with a strong attitude and experience in change management

• A strong willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and work every day on pragmatic tasks, leading by example

• Knowledge of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Bachelor’s degree ideally backed with an MBA/similar education or demonstrable experience to required level.
